A MAWO \u00e9 fruto de um projeto iniciado em 2009 pela Associa\u00e7\u00e3o Moygu do povo Ikpeng e o Instituto Catitu. A iniciativa resultou na implanta\u00e7\u00e3o de uma casa de cultura na aldeia Moygu, no Parque Ind\u00edgena do Xingu, para acolher um centro de documenta\u00e7\u00e3o e pesquisa e um n\u00facleo de produ\u00e7\u00e3o audiovisual.<\/p>\n
